This July i am going to be experiencing "Frontier Days" for the first time. It's held in Cheyenne Wyoming but it's about half hour from where Jedi and i are going to live august twenty thirteen.
Maybe i should rewind.
Long version- Jedi is finally getting the go ahead and it looks like he will be baptized June 16th! I'm so excited for that like nobody's business! So i will be graduating cosmetology school in October and starting up the esthetics program (skin) shortly there after. Because i will have my cosmetology licence i only have to do six hundred hours which is only six months if i do it part time. In July Jedi will gradate and we will be sealed for time and ALL of eternity! He will sweep me away to Colorado and we will live happily ever after.
Short version- June Jedi gets baptized
October Graduate/ Get a Job
November Start Esthetics Program
April Graduate from Esthetics
July Jedi Graduate with Associates
Get Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple
August Move to Colorado
Why Colorado? Well, I think the biggest reason has to do with Jedi. He served his mission there and it is such a positive place in his eyes. I think we have had a lot to deal with in our year and a half of marriage and it is a goal and safe haven for both of us in dark times. It may not be the optimal place for some, but it is our beacon right now and we are working so hard toward it.
What more reason do you need than that? Despite a really good first point i have plenty more where that came from. For three months in Loveland, Colorado it rains like clockwork at exactly three for half an hour and then goes back to sunny skies. Bike trails were made before roads in Colorado so it is faster to get places while riding a bike than in a car. Fun fact, I LOVE BIKE RIDING!! i made my mom buy me a bike when i was sixteen instead of a car. Not that she would have bought me a car anyway. I was a horrible driver.
Colorado has all of the seasons which is very important to maintain a depression free life. Christmas must have snow and summer must boil your brains out! There are prairie dogs everywhere and they are state protected animals. How cool is that? Jedi says you can walk right up to one and pet it if you want. A prairie dog! Speaking of animals, people will leave horses on the corner for people to take for free. However sad this is, FREE PONIES! Back to being serious though- these horses are malnourished and forgotten. It's my dream to make a haven for the beautiful creatures and find them a good home. My parents will tell you my fascination for horses and cows when i was little. However, i got confused when i tried to figure out why cow spots were on a horse so i just decided that there was a third species called a cow horse.
