Book Possibility Two

Believing yourself as daring is an easy thing to accomplish. You get wrapped up in these stories of others and see yourself effortlessly within the hero’s shoes weather he is fighting dragons, saving souls, or even just telling the truth. It’s so simple to consider you would do the same if you only had the chance.
Well, this is probably the biggest difference between you and Adira Jennifer Miller. It was not that she didn’t want to see herself triumphing over the subtle evils. It was, in fact, that she couldn’t even play a game of hide and go seek in the dark without being afraid of her own shadow. Besides being an absolute coward against the unknown she also was self conscious about her every action, answer, and appearance.
For instance, she really didn’t like the color orange, it reminded her of construction or rust, but Maryanne had said she looked so good in it. Said it made the natural highlights in her long blonde hair stick out. Now most of her wardrobe was oranges and all sorts of bright colors that made her feel exposed and childlike. She fit in however. Doing what she must too sneak by the radar of her friends which included endless means of torture that a seventh grader should never have to go through until they are rightfully in high school, such as makeup and high heels.
Maybe she isn’t so different from you after all.
